Housing is constructed of 12 gauge aluminum with a black painted powder coat finish and built in carry handle. All knobs and input connections are recessed for safety. There are four knob
controllers with white position pointer lines for the following functions: SELECT - OFF / DIMMER /FLICKER / STROBE, speed-varies rate for flicker/strobe, LOW LEVEL - to trim bottom output of flicker/strobe, and DIMMER to adjust output from 100% to 0% of voltage using a smooth square law dimmer curve. Solid state dimmer electronics are fully filtered to minimize lamp noise.
The Flickermaster DMX8© can be controlled using a DMX signal from conventional light boards. Front panel has remote female jack receptacle to connect optional remote control which is a simple
closure switch. Two LED indicator displays for OUTPUT and STATUS. Circuit breaker is rear panel
accessible. Power IN/OUT pigtails are 12 inches long #12/SJO wire with machined aluminum strain relief housings. Unit rests on 3/8 inches high by 3/4 inches diameter molded rubber legs, as manufactured by GAMPRODUCTS Inc., Los Angeles, CA.

The frame for the Flickermaster DMX8© shall be manufactured from .1 inch (2.54 mm.) thick aluminum to minimize weight. The overall dimensions shall be 9 inches (228.6 mm) wide at the bottom, 3.6 inches (91.4 mm) high, and 10.6 inches (269.87 mm) deep. Flickermaster DMX8© shall contain internal input electronics.Aluminum case will include the electronics and switches for the 512 channel address and mode switch for option selection. Two 5-pin XLR connectors shall be panel mounted on the back. The Flickermaster DMX8© can be controlled using a DMX signal from conventional light boards.
