Time is perishable and time is what we get so little of when we're trying to put a production on the stage or in the studio. GAMFLOOR can be a great time saver. GAMFLOOR is available in 16 stock colors and two print textures wood grain and marble. So, what happens if you need some- thing else?
A television station in England wanted a marble floor but with their own special coloring. What they did was take the GAMFLOOR 620 Marble Effect and added some of their own color. They painted the GAMFLOOR with the backing still on. After it dried it was rolled up, brought into the studio and applied to the floor.
As you can see in this photograph, it worked very well. Painting the GAM-FLOOR and then bringing it to the set solved a lot of problems. They did not have to tie up the studio
while they were painting the floor, nor did they have to wait for the floor to dry. They didn't have to bring the mess and the smell of paint into the studio. The studio, a valuable and expensive facility could be used for other profitable functions rather than a paint shop for two days.
Painting and prepping the GAMFLOOR in the scene shop is economical and convenient. Bringing the finished product into the production area and applying it takes very little time.The paint was a water based paint and once dry was quite durable on the vinyl GAMFLOOR. "The Passport Quiz" (see picture to the left) being produced at Meridian Television in Abderdeen, Scotland is a good example of how economical and convenient GAMFLOOR can be for your production.
