GAM is very pleased to have formed an association with Lighting Innovation of Vienna, Austria. We have introduced a series of new products which have drawn very positive res-ponses at recent trade shows. A favorite is the follow spot
yoke. It is a simple device that allows you to mount a Source IV ellipsoidal spotlight in the truss and turns it into a very smooth follow spot. This simple eco-nomical follow spot yoke works so well and is a great rental item.
The new 575W HMI adaptation to the Source IV puts out an awesome
light. We recently experimented with a 5 degree at a 600 foot throw to see if we could get a visible image. We were as-tounded with its bright performance. Efficient design, compact size and weight result in a surprisingly brilliant light which has many interesting applications. The lightweight ballast weighs only eight pounds and it can be DMX controlled. GAM can supply the unit complete or we can modify your Source IV for an even more economical package.
We showed the Inno Four, 575 watt HMI at LDI, USITT and NAB. Every designer who saw it had only one question - "Where can I rent it?"
Pictured here is the Inno Four 575 HMI and the Motor Yoke. The
Inno Four successfully achieves 4 times more light in-tensity com-
pared to the halogen Source IV with a lamp life of 750 to 1000 hours. It also has a small housing and is light weight. The MotorYoke has the highest control precision with adjustable speed. Exact reproducibility of spotlight positions with almost noiseless operation.
GAM now offers custom gobos made of glass. B & W or
greyscale gobos are $270.00 and $90.00 for duplicates. Lead time is seven working days or, if needed more quickly than that, there is a rush service available for an additional 50%.
