Back to Table of Contents 2000 Marks the 25th anniversary of GAM ! That's right! It's been a whole twenty five years since GAM (originally, The Great American Market) opened its doors and we are very proud that for 25 years we have pro-vided innovative products and superb service to an expand-ing and demanding industry. GAM's unique products have changed the way Lighting Designers go about their task. GAM's pioneering efforts with the Great American Scene Machine created a new interest in projected effects. The Great American Pattern has made off-the-shelf projection as common as color filters on the lights. Blackwrap, TwinSpin, GAMTORCH and StarStrobe are now all part of the many special effects of everyday productions. In an ever chang-ing industry it's interesting to reflect where we will be in 2025, but at this moment it's nice to take pause and reflect on the 25 years of fun, excitement and adventure that we at GAM have shared with our many customers and dealers worldwide.
