News From Peter Sargent, Dean at Webster University, St. Louis

Peter Sargent The photo shows Peter on vacation in Michigan, but he has been busy with a wide variety of design projects. He and his wife Alice spent three weeks in Holland. He was guest designer for Hope Summer Repertory Theatre's production of Jonny Pye. He also designed Death of a Salesman for the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis that opened this fall. For the first time he used only GamColor for his color. Pete had a great time, and said: "Number 315 (Autumn Glory) is a wonderful amber and 325 (Bastard Amber) works well for acting areas, as does 710 (Blue Green). I am gearing up to design A Little Night Music for the St. Louis Rep. and then again for the Great Lakes Theatre Festival. Once again, GAM will be the only color book."

Mr. Sargent has been giving seminars using Great American Patterns and GamColor this Fall in Florida, and in the Spring he will do another one in Iowa. GAM is always happy to provide 'Teacher's Kits' to help spread the word about our products.
