Cirque du Soleil at the Bellagio, Luc LaFortune selects GAM!
Luc selected 24 TwinSpin II (slow speed) for the show. Cirque du Soleil has used the TwinSpin before, and they selected the new TwinSpin II because of its super quiet performance and reliability. LaFortune demonstrated some of the wonderful effects he created (using GAM products) at last year's LDI Show.
Gam supplied 100 StarStrobe 3's for this project. No one else has designed such an elegant strobe, unique in that it has a one piece molded housing and one piece molded cap. The cap can be removed and GamColor inserted for color effects.
Luc LaFortune has been a fan of GamColor for many years. There are approximately 120 sheets of GamColor used in the show. Some of his favorites include 855 Blue Jazz , 890 Dark Sky Blue and 386 Apricot. In addition, Luc selected over 200 patterns from the GAM collection for use on Cirque du Soleil at the fabulous new Bellagio in Las Vegas.
