GAM Tube
The GamTube line has been extended to include as standards the new T-5's and T-8's as well as T-12 and bi-axial lamps. GamTube is a color sleeve that fits over fluorescents of almost any size and comes with a color fast warranty for one year. GAMPRODUCTS,INC. offers the GamTube in over 40 off-the-shelf colors for immediate delivery and can supply custom colors and sizes of any GamColor within two weeks.
Special UV resistive dyes used in GamTube ensure color durability, unlike other color filters which are adversely affected by the high UV content of fluorescent tubes. GamColor's special highly UV resistive dyes have been used on many architectural and decorative projects for many years. GamTubes are manufactured from a deep dyed polyester material that is folded and has a welded seam so that they can be folded flat and shipped very economically.
GAM offers fast service which includes a wide range of 138 GamColors plus neutral density filters, and an ultraviolet filter. The Denver Center Theatre Company, in association with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), presents the world premiere of TANTALUS, an epic play cycle tracing the events of The Trojan War, at Denver's Stage Theatre opening October 21 and playing through December 2. The title TANTALUS comes from a character in Greek myths named Tantalus, who was destined to spend all of eternity with a rock hanging precariously over his head forever hungry and thirsty, with food and drink in sight, but always just out of reach. Though not a character in the plays, the peril of his situation is a metaphor for all that occurs within them.
Resident Lighting Director Charles MacLeod, working with Ninagawa's collaborator, Japanese Lighting Designer, Sumio Yoshii, used 6 of GAMPRODUCTS's new line of HMI Source IV's to help make this production a spectacular event.
A genuinely international event, TANTALUS brings together artists from all over the globe: British and American actors, a Greek set and costume designer, a Japanese lighting designer, an Irish composer, British directors and a choreographer from Broadway.
After playing in Denver for three months this epic project continues on and tours the UK in January 2001.
